The antifreeze valve protects the system when the fluid temperature in the piping drops below 2°C, preventing the formation of ice: the thermosensitive element is activated by emptying the system and remains active until a safety condition is restored above 4.5°C, a temperature beyond which the element closes the discharge hole and allows a new pressurization of the system.
